Theory first, then practice
Thì quá khứ -았/었-
"Hôm qua tôi đã đi" → 어제 갔어요. Gắn -았/었- vào gốc động từ rồi thêm -어요.
Nối câu: -고 (và), -지만 (nhưng), -아/어서 (nên/vì)
Tiếng Việt tách hai câu; tiếng Hàn thường nối bằng đuôi liên kết: "Cay nhưng ngon" → 맵지만 맛있어요.
Muốn / có thể
"muốn" → -고 싶다 (먹고 싶어요); "có thể" → -(으)ㄹ 수 있다 (할 수 있어요).
Bỏ chủ ngữ khi đã rõ
Người Hàn thường bỏ "tôi/bạn" nếu ngữ cảnh đã rõ. Dịch "Tôi thích nó" thành 좋아해요 là tự nhiên hơn 저는 그것을 좋아해요.
